Overview
Dismantling joint is an adjustable connection device installed in the pipeline system, usually composed of two flange ends, an intermediate sleeve and a bolt adjustment mechanism. It is mainly used to provide necessary axial space compensation when installing or removing valves, pumps, flow meters and other equipment in the pipeline.
During the pipeline connection process, due to construction deviation, thermal expansion and contraction, foundation settlement and other factors, standard flange docking often has size or position errors. Dismantling joints provide adjustable connection capabilities, which can be temporarily extended and retracted, adjust the distance and accurately align, greatly improving construction efficiency and reducing maintenance costs.
